The most compassionate thing you can do for yourself and others, truly, is to care—but not too much—about what others think of you.
Yes, because you are living your life, not them. And if I may add, by not being fully yourself, you’re actually depriving your loved ones of the chance to see who you truly are.
Why would you hold back the gift of your true self? Why deprive the world of the unique contribution only you can give by hiding who you are? There are people waiting to connect with you, but they can’t find you if you’re not being the whole, true you.
So, if you want to be bold in life, decide what works for you, decide what doesn’t, and move forward. Not because someone else says so, but because it genuinely aligns with what you prefer.
There is no situation or circumstance that’s inherently difficult. It’s only our definitions and relationship to it that make it feel that way.

I love that quote and are living it more and more ❤️🙏❤️
Allowing myself to be seen is a blessing and I am getting better and better at it.
